Flat Betting

Fixed stake every bet — simple bankroll control with no progression.

How it works

Flat betting means wagering the same amount on every selection. It does not recover losses automatically; discipline comes from choosing a sustainable unit size.

Canonical rules

Plain-language summary of the published rule version (same snapshot stored on every backtest).

Stake is always 1 unit (× unit parameter).

Push / void: Push returns the stake and does not change progression; the next stake equals the current stake.

Pros

Easy to understand
Predictable exposure
No progression spikes

Cons

No built-in loss recovery
Edge still required for long-term profit

Mini-simulator

Enter a W / L / P sequence to see stakes using the same engine code as backtests.

Outcome sequence

Use W (win), L (loss), or P (push), separated by spaces or commas.

Step	Outcome	Stake
1	LOSS	1
2	LOSS	1
3	WIN	1
4	LOSS	1
5	WIN	1
6	WIN	1

Past results don't predict future results. No staking strategy overcomes the bookmaker margin in the long run.
